Mr Cédric Gill-Ménard, MA
Hello and welcome to my biography.
My name is Cédric Gill Ménard and I am a candidate for the title of psychologist by equivalency.
I was trained in clinical psychology at the University of Strasbourg in France with a specialization in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). Originally from Quebec, I am now back to being closer to my family after 7 years abroad.
My previous experiences led me to work in the psychiatric unit of Ponts-à-Mousson, in the detention center of Écrouves, in 3 different French Medical-Therapeutic Centers as well as in an institution for adolescents. I have thus had the opportunity to work with people with a wide variety of problems.
Today, I specialize my practice in accompanying people facing difficulties with anxiety, emotion regulation, impulsivity, mood, dependency, and relationships.
My approach is warm and collaborative. My interventions are part of the large family of CBTs with a particular sensitivity for Acceptance and Commitment Therapies (ACT) and are intended to be concrete, effective, and adapted to each client.
