What should I expect during a psycho-educational assessment process?

During a psycho-educational assessment, you will meet with a psychologist. This initial interview obtains information about medical history, family history, academic history, home environment, social history. The psychologist will review previous test results (if available) and report on any changes in behaviour, performance, or academic achievement. In subsequent meetings, cognitive, achievement, and memory testing will be done. Feedback will be given once the results are summarised in a report.
